1 – Bullpen Day is a good day for the Twins

Sunday was a bullpen day for the Twins, as news came out just before game time that the scheduled starter, Homer Bailey, was headed to the Injured List with biceps tendinitis. Originally the plan that the Twins had broadcast to the world was that Bailey would be pushed back to allow for more recovery time – given the relatively quick ramp-up for the season and the rash of pitcher injuries that we’ve seen around Major League Baseball in the past week.
