An announcement about the 5 Thoughts newsletter

Hi readers,

This post won’t be fun to write. Never one to bury the lede, I’m writing to let you know that I’m calling an end to the newsletter and that I’ll be processing refunds for paying subscribers for the remainder of the Twins season.

For the past dozen years or so, I’ve taken great pleasure in writing — and specifically writing about the Twins. It felt really good to get support from this group to continue that writing after I was laid off from full-time work a couple years ago. And for that I’m extremely grateful.

The most concise way I can put it is that I no longer have the bandwidth to give this audience the Twins analysis that it deserves. And so I’m sad to say that I’m closing this chapter.

I want to thank each of you for helping me to stick with this for so long, and more specifically for your support of this newsletter. I hope that the Twins can reward your investment with a deep run this year. One series at a time, of course.
